Dear Promesa Family,
As you are aware, Cameron County has adopted a 14-day Shelter In-Place as of today, March 25, 2020, and ending April 8, 2020. Due to this, Promesa College Prep has tentatively rescheduled our starting date for Monday, April 13, 2020
We will be providing lessons that your child will do at home starting Tuesday, March 31. Parents will need to come by and pick-up a packet of lessons for your child. If you are only picking up lessons, and not food, you may do so starting at 9 am until 1 pm on Tuesday, March 31 in front office. If your child needs a laptop to access educational information, this may be done at this time. You will need to have a valid Identification in order to do this. We do ask that a parent be the one to pick –up the laptop. If you are unable to get to the school before 1:00 PM, please let your teacher know. We can make arrangements for that day. Please understand that the Shelter In-Place affects us also
We will continue to provide food pick- up! This is allowed under the Shelter In-Place. Parents may drive-through to pick up the packet of food. This will again be done on Tuesday, March 31, between 11 am and 1 pm.
We ask that you watch the news for any further changes. Please know that Promesa Brownsville will usually follow the calendar decisions that are made by BISD. We know that many of our families have other siblings attending BISD. By keeping to the same schedule, we hope to make things a little easier for you. Please be safe during this time. Querida Familia Promesa,
Como ustedes saben, el Condado de Cameron ha optado por un refugio en casa de 14 días a partir de hoy, 25 de marzo del 2020, hasta el 8 de abril de 2020.
Por lo tanto, Promesa College Prep tentativamente a cambiado la fecha de regreso a clases al Lunes, 13 de Abril del 2020.
Proporcionaremos las lecciones para que su hijo/a haga en casa empezando el Martes 31 de Marzo. Padres tendrán que venir y recoger las lecciones para su hijo/a. Si solo recogerá lecciones y no comida, puede venir a partir de las 9am a 1pm a nuestra oficina. Si su hijo/a necesita una computadora para tener acceso a información educacional, puede recoger una este día. Tendrá que traer una identificación valida para hacer esto. Les pedimos que sea un padre el que recoja la laptop. Si usted no puede venir a la escuela antes de la 1:00pm, por favor informe a su maestra. Podemos hacer arreglos de ser necesario para ese día. Por favor entienda que el mandato de refugio en hogar también nos afecta a nosotros.
Seguiremos proporcionando comida. Esto esta permitido hacerse durante el mandato de refugio en hogar, los padres pueden conducir para recoger el paquete de comida. Esto se hará nuevamente el martes 31 de marzo, entre las 11 a.m. y la 1 p.m.
Les pedimos que vean las noticias por si llega a ocurrir algún otro cambio. Por favor tome en cuenta que Promesa Brownsville esta siguiendo las decisiones que toma BISD. Sabemos que muchas de nuestras familias cuentan con hermanos que asisten a escuelas de BISD. Al seguir el mismo horario, esperamos hacer esto mas fácil para ustedes. Por favor manténganse seguros durante este tiempo.
